Shawn Lee Robbins

January 18, 1992 to June 02, 2019

On June 2nd 2019 inside the Merritt Island, FL Walmart, Shawn was senselessly taken away from us much too early. Shawn was definitely one of a kind, he had the biggest heart, the kindest soul and standing almost 6'5" he was known as a gentle giant. Shawn would give you the shirt off his back to the last penny in his pocket . He always had a big beautiful smile on his face for anyone he crossed paths with and would help anyone that asked or was there just to talk to. Alot of times he just knew that he was needed and how to help. He loved playing basketball and writing music.

Shawn was an up and coming Rap artist. He had been writing lyrics since high school. Through myself, his brother, sister's, family near and far, also friends he called brother's; we all will make sure his name and music lives on. We will be doing some amazing things and helping so many in his name, just as he would have done. My son did not deserve this action that took his life. Shawn graduated RFM Christian Academy in 2010 as Valedictorian he also played basketball there. He went on to attended Central Christian College in Kansas where he was on the basketball team and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Business. He worked while attending school, sometimes he had 3 jobs at one time. Making sure he took care of his household. A few months after graduating college he returned to Cocoa, FL. Shawn worked hard to achieve things for his family. He worked production, he did deliveries, he also was a 3rd grade teacher. He loved teaching that class and mentoring his students and they thought the world of him. Shawn loved animals especially his dog Jango. The rumors that have been spread about my son are LIES. And are very disrespectful to the women and men that unfortunately go through the abuse. There is so much MORE to Shawn's story. All he wanted was to be happy and make everyone else around him just as happy, and to be a father.

No matter how long it takes we will be fighting for justice; Just like so many other victims families in this country. WE ARE going to make a change in these laws that protect the actions of the people doing wrong and help save lives in the process.
